Lcd Screen

What is the difference between a LCD screen and a Plasma screen? And which takes more care?
I have heard that you can hardly touch a lcd screen and the plasma screens burn. Can anyone help me out on this?
This one all depends on the size of screen you want. 42" or above is plasma and below that is definitely lcd. Plasma screen burn is a problem that earlier screens suffered from and you would really have to have the same image on the screen 24/7 to do any damage. LCD screens are better technically in terms of longevity as they do not decrease in standard as the tv ages. Plasma screens tend to lose picture quality towards the end of their life but don't let that put you off as they last as long as a normal CRT set. It all comes down to the size of the screen you want at the end of the day.
